Marina Gudelj was born in 1988 in Split. She graduated in Croatian Language and Literature
from the University of Zadar.
Her short story collection Phantom Pain was published in 2020 as a result of winning the
Prozak Award.
In 2021, her novel Unfinished was published by Hena com, and in 2026 her first novel for
children and young adults, The Forgotten Girl, was published.
She runs the literary blog Straničnik.
She lives and works in Split.
