Kuveždić

Životopis

Marina Kuveždić was born in 1985 in Vukovar. Since 1991 she has been living in Zagreb
where, in 2009, she graduated in English and Pedagogy from the Faculty of Philosophy and
Social Sciences. She lives in Velika Gorica and works in Zagreb.
Until now, a large number of her shorts stories has been published as part of various
competitions and publications (Samobor City Library, Ranko Marinković, Kritična masa,
Arteist, Matica Hrvatska) and she won several prizes for her short prose, among others the
first prize in the competition organized by the Student Club of the Faculty of Electrical
Engineering and Computing for the best short story, Ono što je htjela, as well as the third
prize in the short story competition Ranko Marinković (Večernji list) in 2017 for the story Znaš
li tko sam and again in 2025 for the story Tako lijepo jutro.
So far, two of her books have been published by Sandorf, a collection of short stories called
Put koji je odabrala in 2022, and the novel Kad plavi Dunav in 2024.
