Životopis

Andrea Pisac

Andrea Pisac rođena je 1975. u Kutini. Diplomirala je kroatistiku i anglistiku na Filozofskom fakultetu u Zagrebu. 

Od 2003. godine živi u Londonu gdje je magistrirala na University College London.  2010. godine doktorirala je antropologiju na Goldsmiths College. Njezina doktorska teza ‘Trusted Tales: Authority and Exile in Literary Representations from the Former Yugoslavia’ bavi se temom povjerenja i priče u kontektu književnosti u egzilu. 

Pet godina radila je u Engleskom PEN-u kao direktorica programa Writers in Translation, čiji cilj je promocija stranih književnosti na engleski jezik. 

Radila je kao research fellow na projektu European Research Council-a ‘Gambling in Europe. 

2014. vratila se u Hrvatsku te pokrenula popularan i nagrađivani blog Zagreb Honestly http://travelhonestly.com/zagreb-alternative-guide/ na kojem piše o kulturalnom turizmu u Hrvatskoj za stranu publiku.
